This beautiful pot holder was handmade by a lovely Amish woman from Minnesota.

Each stitch is done by hand and if any type of machine work is used, it would be done with a treadle sewing machine. However, the majority of the stitching is done by hand. Each of these pot holders are a work of art.

And although these pot holders, you can be confident that will stand up over time.

This Amish potholder is so pretty that I don't want to use it for real. The detail of the sewing is incredible.  I love to tell my friends that this was handmade - no electricity used at all!
